Waste Water Treatment Process কি? (ETP)
Extreme Water Contamination is Possibility.
Industries Like :
- Pharmaceuticals
- Textiles
- Chemicals
Waste Water Treatment Process Treats:
- Organic Matter
- Inorganic Matter
- Heavy Metals
- Oil & Grease
- Suspended Particles
- Other Contaminants
Several Types of Waste Water Treatment Plants are:
- Chemical
- Biological
- Combined
- Thermal
Working Process of ETP:
1. (removal) Suspended Particles
2. (dissolve) Organic Matters
3. (handling) Sludge (for Disposal)
Equalization:
Balance the raw effluent from various processing units. The floating aerator is used to homogeneous the effluent before it is pumped to the neutralization tank for treatment.
Neutralization:
pH control is the main purpose of neutralization. pH neutralization is used to modify the pH of Waste Water.
Coagulation:
Dosing of liquid Aluminum Sulphate causes tiny dirt particles to stick together. The collection of particles combines to generate larger, heavier particles that are easily removed through settling and filtration.
Sedimentation:
Liquid travels slowly causing heavy particles to settle to the bottom. Sludge that gathers at the bottom of a container.
Filtration:
Passing liquid through a filter that removes particulates that is made of sand & gravel layers. Backwashing is required to clean these filters on a regular basis.
Disinfection:
Prior to disposal, Chlorine is used to disinfect and decontaminate water.
Sludge Drying:
Sedimentation collects and settles down solids, which are transported to drying beds. If Sludge thickness 300mm the bed should be segregated to allow natural evaporation to dry it off.
